MY LIFE ON THE WATER

PVA_abseconI spend more than 200 days each year on the water, kayaking, surfing, riding a stand-up paddleboard, or sculling in a rowing shell, primarily on the  Schuylkill and Delaware Rivers and the Jersey Shore.  Each year, I row at least 1000 miles on the Schuylkill.

*The Paddlers 4 Humanity event – an 18-mile open water crossing from Montauk to Block Island was cancelled due to weather. In lieu of the event, I circumnavigated Gardiner’s Island, an 20 (ish)-mile journey, in a kayak.
